Time Out On Sports Corruption
All the way back in 1997 I did two shows with Joe Nepi, the president of the American Sports Fan Association. The rampant corruption in the professional sports world was one of the key reason why the TV show was started in the first place.
Mr. Nepi has testified before the US Congress on this issue.
In these two shows, we covered many issues that are still as fresh today as they were then. Issues like the personal seat license (PSL), the so-called move of the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore, the now defunct New England Patriots, who where replaced by the "new look" team in 1994.
Michael Duff co-hosted both programs.
