Mills - Infurchia Power Line Show 2002
Here's another look back to a serious event in Bethel, CT. It was in 2002 when CL&P proposed their high voltage power lines.
Once again, Time Out was on the cutting edge providing the much needed coverage of this important issue. However, back then, I was also the Vice Chairman of the Pro Bethel Party and the party was the only political party in town which had intervener status. Because of the efforts of these people, many others and Pro Bethel, these high voltage lines were buried through Bethel's Educational Park.
On the program that evening was long time political activist Geraldine Mills and former Board of Education Chairman Francis Infurchia.
