Bethel Golf Authority Meeting 6 February 2001
When the proposed golf course happened in 2000 - 2001, Time Out was there providing the coverage of this issue that was needed to fight the Bethel Golf Authority and certain elected officials in the town to keep this from happening.
As it turned out the townspeople ultimately rejected the proposed golf course and the Bethel Golf Authority from taking over total control of the 160 acres of land in the Clark Industrial Park.
I picked up on it then and it is even more evident to me now, the level of shall we say smugness of the members of the Bethel Golf Authority, in believing that their proposal would pass. Thankfully, it did not and I say especially so because The events of 9-11 took place just seven months after this video was shot of one of their meetings.
