Opium fields guarded by U.S. troops

The nation of Iraq was invaded to secure the oil fields, create artificial scarity and keep the prices up. Afghanastan was invaded to keep the poppy fields growing and the opium production there is up over 1300 percent since 2001. Can anyone say "triple play?"
